Jay Rosen spoke this morning at the Media140 confernece in Sydney about rebooting the news in the age of social media.
His notes reflect some interesting issues for educators as well as we face some similar issues to journalism.
Students now have more tools than ever to pursue knowledge, and are able to bypass the “sage on the stage” or theĀ “keeper of the knowledge” to higher quality, more relevent information.
